Clare Allen
Dr Clare Allen, MBBS is a Consultant Uro-Radiologist and Uro-Radiology Lead at University College London Hospitals, with specialist expertise in complex reconstructive urological imaging and prostate MRI.
She is a core member of the UCLH reconstructive urology multidisciplinary team, providing specialist imaging input for patients with complex urethral and lower urinary tract pathology and supporting clinical and operative decision-making.
Dr Allen is also internationally recognised for her work in prostate MRI. She has been closely involved in the development of multiparametric MRI for prostate cancer since 2000, contributed to the establishment of reporting standards and imaging-quality frameworks, and was lead radiologist on the PROMIS study.
Her work bridges highly specialised clinical imaging, multidisciplinary urological decision-making and research into the quality and diagnostic performance of prostate MRI.
