GURS-Masterclass
Theme: Inclusive Care for All Patients Requiring Reconstructive Urological Surgery
Description
The 18th GURS Masterclass will focus on inclusive care for patients needing reconstructive urological surgery. This online conference will be streamed live from UCH Westmoreland Street Hospital, London, from November 6th to 8th, 8:00 to 18:00 GMT. Faculty members will present and engage in discussions from our Film Studio.
Live Surgery Schedule:
- Day 1: Urethroplasty for bulbar urethral strictures
- Day 2: Urethroplasty for traumatic strictures
- Day 3: Gender affirmation surgery
We encourage delegate case presentations and submissions for a poster session on "Innovation & Research" in GURS surgery. Registration is required, and you must be an author or co-author of the submitted work. Posters will be displayed on the GURS website. The top six abstracts will present live online, with the best poster winning free admission to next year's Masterclass.
Aims
The objectives of the GURS-Masterclass are as follows:
- Demonstrate surgical techniques and intra-operative decision-making involved in complex Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery through live surgical procedures.
- Engage participants in interactive case discussions, encouraging active participation and knowledge sharing.
- Provide a platform for GURS surgeons to learn, network, and exchange the latest updates on GURS research and products.
By achieving these aims, the GURS-Masterclass aims to enhance surgical skills, facilitate professional networking, and foster the exchange of valuable information among GURS surgeons.

The pricing structure for attending the event is as follows:
Online attendance:
- £350 standard rate
- £150 discounted rate for low- and middle-income economies based on the OECD definition, and students
