Anastasia V Frost

Dr Anastasia Frost, MBChB, MSc is a Specialty Doctor in Reconstructive Urology at University College London Hospitals, with a particular interest in surgical education, practical skills training and safe urethral catheterisation.

Dr Frost has contributed to reconstructive urology through clinical research, peer-reviewed publications, practical skills education and competency-based training. She has co-authored work on bulbar urethroplasty, Cowper’s duct pathology, post-prostatectomy bladder-neck changes, artificial urinary sphincter surgery and penile urethral reconstruction, and in 2026 was first author of the SAFE randomised controlled trial evaluating catheterisation after urethral lengthening. Her MSc research focused on long-term follow-up of a cystoplasty cohort.

She plays a central role in the delivery of the GURS-Masterclass, combining clinical experience with expertise in audiovisual production, online event delivery and technical coordination of live and semi-live surgical teaching. She has also contributed to the development of AUCA educational content and competency-based practical skills training.
